During the 3D scanning workshop, we had the opportunity to work with advanced technology to capture objects and shapes in three-dimensional models. It was a very interesting and hands-on experience.
One of the highlights was the scanning of a robot, which allowed us to see how details and complex shapes could be reproduced very accurately in a digital model. The students also participated actively, and some were encouraged to scan their faces, which resulted in very realistic models and gave us a unique perspective on how 3D scanning applications can be customised.
The workshop not only allowed us to learn about how the 3D scanner works, but also to understand how these tools can be applied in different contexts, from industrial design to art and customisation. It was a dynamic and enriching activity, in which everyone actively participated and explored new creative and technical possibilities.
